Goodbye Lenin

Sat Apr 18, 2009, 7:07 PM
Last year I worked on improving my photography by helping out a friend's band in Edinburgh. It took me a while to adapt to low light environments like crowded pubs and underground vaults. It was fun, exciting, and I got to travel around the UK. The results were better than just about everything I've posted here to DeviantArt. Speaking of which, I haven't been here in what seems like nearly a year.

In any case, I'd love to direct you to their sites.

It's alright. I've sorta went crazy and such, heh, suffer from depression, anxiety and lots of other little things. I'm pretty much a bum, live at home, work at gamestop, and play games; other then that, life is decent.

Well, I have a story for the icon!

It's a statue called the "Boxer" who happens to be my University's mascot. It was brought back from China sometime in the late 1800s as a gift to the University. The nickname Boxer was given because of the Boxer Rebellion. It resembles both a dragon and a dog, but I'm not too sure on what its supposed to be.

A larger statue of the mythical beast it represents is my latest deviation in my gallery. :)
